LOGO SLOGAN

Christ University Commerce Association premiered its first event for the academic year 2010-11 on 2 July 2010 with the prelims of the event Logo Slogan. The participants were tested upon their awareness and knowledge of the logos and taglines of companies, events, clubs, associations and the like. The event was hosted by our very own seniors Maulik Doshi, Neeraj Jindal and Rahul Titus. The event turned out to be a huge success securing the participation of more than 1,100 students in teams of 3 each from across 15 classes that included B Com Regular, B Com CA and B Com Honours.

13 July, the day of the finals had come and the participants were eager to know the results. The event hosts had scrutinized the prelim sheets and shortlisted 6 finalist teams, each of them from a different class. The finalists had faced cut throat competition that involved direct, familiar, confusing, hard but all the same, workable logos. The audience too was part of the action with audience questions and goodie bags for those who answered the given question correctly. Indeed, what an electrifying event it was.

The event was characterized by ups and downs every minute, the table toppling every question of the last round. At the end, the scores were put together, the team that won hands down that called themselves 'Get Us In', teammates Rajatha, Akanksha and Sindhura. while the runners up, team 'Thriller' had Surabhi, Priyanka and Salomi, The second runners up, team 'Benami' had Aditya, Rohith and Amith. And so ended the premier event of the CUCA, giving the students a year to look forward to.
