New Events- Feb 2009

The CUCA Proudly Presents three new events for the commerce students to put their hearts and souls in!!

FINANCE FINALS:-
After going through a tough selection and filtering process six teams have been selected for the final round which will test the teams in the best possible way. The details will be put up here before Tuesday(i.e. 24/02/2009). The Finalists are

1. Bablesh and team from 1st B.Com D
2. Rohit and team from 2nd B.Com D
3. Arishia and team from 1st B.Com D
4. Shruthi and team from 1st B.Com D
5. Rashid and team from 2nd B.Com C
6. Saket and team from 2nd B.Com

The finals are Scheduled to be held on 27/02/2009. Be ready to display your Financial skills.

MOCK STOCK

The mock stock exchange shows you the students of commerce how shares are traded at an exchange as well as shows the risks and rewards by investing in the market. We will be simulating real market like trading which will provide a learning platform as well as become an enjoyable session for the students. The event is open for the first year students only. The team should consist of 4 members with 2 being the traders who'll trade on the market floor and 2 accountants who'll record and keep an eye on the traders activities and the value of the holdings. The event is scheduled to be held on Thursday- 26/02/2008 from 3:00 P.M. onwards.

AD VENTURE
Get ready to show off your marketing skills. CUCA presents Ad-Venture. In the Market Name sells and to make that name you need to market your product in the most effective way. Can you sell anything??? if yes be ready to market for fame. This event is open for 2nd year students only. The team should consist of 4 members and are suppose to submit a CD containing an VIDEO AD and a RADIO JINGLE along with PRINT ADS (Teasers included). The Creativity and application skills of the participants will be tested here.
The topics and other details will be given on Tuesday-24/02/2008 and the end date of submission is Thursday- 26/02/2008.
